Two-Component State-OF-The-Art Silicone Coating
A two-component, state-of-the-art silicone coating that can be subjected to temperatures up to 4oC (790oF) without
the need for a heat cure. This fast-drying product has a low sheen finish with good anti-corrosive properties.
This product is for use on steel surfaces where excellent heat resisting performance is required.
Methods of Application
BRUSH / ROLL Brushing and rolling is limited to small areas or touch-up
Drying Time - Temperature, Relative Humidity, and Film Thickness will affect dry and re-coat times.

Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil or other contaminants. All mill scale or
weld spatter must be removed for maximum performance. The minimum surface preparation required is
SSPC-SP10 Near White Blast Cleaning but an SSPC-SP5 White Metal Blast Cleaning is recommended for
improved product performance. Surface profile should not exceed 1.25 mils as this is a thin film coating.
Typical Resistance (Non-immersion)
Do not apply where surface temperatures will exceed recommended temperature resistance levels. Not for immersion
service. When HJ-7895 is used as a base coat and top coated with HJ-7145, total dry film thickness of the two coat system shall not exceed 2 mils dry.
Mix HJ-908 Series A with good agitation. Add B component zinc dust to HJ-908 Series A, stirring constantly. Never add
liquid component to zinc dust. Continue mixing until a smooth consistency is attained. If necessary, strain through a
30 to 60 mesh screen to remove any lumps before using. Mix frequently during use as required.
