DESCRIPTION: HJ Exterior Flat is a vinyl acrylic based exterior flat finish for new and previously painted
masonry. HJ Exterior Flat is durable, applies easily, and has good hide. Its flat finish allows for excellent touchup.

All surfaces must be cured, clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust,
rust, stains, grease, oil, mildew, wax, efflorescence and other
contaminants. Remove all loose, peeling, or chalky paint by
sanding, scraping, high-pressure washing or other appropriate
methods. Repair all cracks, holes, and other surface
imperfections with a suitable patching material. Repaired
surfaces should match the surrounding surface texture. If
efflorescence exists, remove all noticeable deposits and prime
the entire surface with HJ252 - Waterborne
Epoxy Primer or HJ253 - Acrylic Masonry Sealer.
· If the air or surface temperature is between 37°F and 50°F,
add HJ254 - Cold Weather Reducer per label
· Do not apply when the air or surface temperature is below 37°F.
HJ-781 should be thinned with one to one and a half gallons of
water per five gallons of paint.
